Official distribution
In 2016, Álvarez Riveira expanded its catalogue by becoming the official distributor of Solé Diesel, offering its customers more options in engines. In January 2021, it consolidated its leadership by signing an exclusive distribution agreement with Solé Iberia for its entire range of products for Galicia and Asturias.
Evolution
The launch of the MINI series in 1970 and the iconic MINI-17 in 1988 reaffirmed its commitment to innovation and quality. Ten years later, the production of generators consolidated its presence in demanding professional markets.
Transformation
However, it was from 1949 onwards that their focus on the nautical field marked their identity, establishing themselves as leaders in the production of marine engines for the modernisation of vessels.
Beginnings
Solé Diesel, founded by D. Enrique Solé Jorba, began as a workshop for the manufacture and repair of carriages, evolving over time into the repair of automobiles and the distribution of petrol in 1931.
